		Signs At CEI we are capable of manufacturing a wide variety of signs using various materials and techniques. Such materials as plastic, brass aluminum, woods and exotic metals like stainless steel, bronze, etc. Engraving of signs is our most popular style along with “raised” letter engraving, we also do vinyl lettering, wood carved signs, and reverse engraved method. Of course, logos and graphics can be created and incorporated into most signs. Quantities of one sign to an entire building are no problem. ADA Signs (Americans with Disabilities Act) We produce signs that meet the Federal guidelines for the proper raised letters and symbols and correct Braille even though other sign makers may short change with vinyl or silk-screened symbols. Our pricing is fair and competitive. Etching CEI is now leading the state of Virginia with its new and latest technology blasting equipment and computer software along with a staff of renowned artists. We specialize in glass and plastic etching along with wood or similar materials. Name Badges What a great low-cost way to advertise and be recognized. Name badges are one of our more interesting and designable items. We always strive to create each badge order to be unique and satisfying. Whether its one name badge or hundreds, we can handle your requests. Materials such as plastics and metals are normal materials used. Pin clips, swivel clips, magnet clips or slip-in the pocket styles are all here. Corian and Formica have also been used for name badges. Special graphics or logos can be added and also multi colors, sizes and shapes. Plaques/Awards Traditional wooden plaques are always in demand and easily designed at a competitive price. Also man-made marble and imitation marble plaques are different and interesting change. Most plaques can also be engraved directly into the material or a metal or plastic plate may be attached or a combination of both. Sizes can go from a 3”x 5” up to 48” x 96” if needed and possibly larger. We have a fully equipped production shop so custom fabrication can be accomplished. We also offer a full line of wards such as the latest acrylic designs or general often sought after items and we may possibly be able to create something to your specs or engrave and mount your item to produce a one off award. Stencils Yep, stencils have been around for many years, old timey folks say but still real practical and sure ‘nough we still make ‘em. Not the old fashions paper ones but a new flexible material that will last and not easily be damaged. But stencils can also be made from aluminum, plastics or wood if requested. Size is limited only to material availability. Great way to get the most show for your money spent. Legend/Switch plates CEI is the leader for industrial customers and manufacturers who require premium grade legend plates both by brand names such as ALLEN-BRADLEY, SQUARE-D, CUTLER-HAMMER or custom made “in-house” legends. Our “in-house” legends can be created to your specs using plastics, aluminum or stainless steel. Or pick from our stock legends that are on the shelf for faster turn around. Don’t forget about those wall switch covers and receptacle covers either plastic or metal we do hundreds monthly engraved and color filled to government or contract specs. Also lens caps and annunciator windows. Control Panels A control panel or faceplate is sometimes like another form of art or say the “dash board” that some one has to look at. Design and appearance is always important. Sure, we do many basic or simple panels to keep cost low and delivery fast. But we have made hundreds of deluxe high quality panels too. Both plastics and metals are most common. Reverse text/image process of mechanical engraving ensures a tamper free permanent finished product. Also logos or graphics are possible and multi colors may be doable. Machine Parts Many times parts need wording or identification before being called finished. We have the dexterity to handle you custom made parts and engrave what you need usually with a quick turn around time. Custom Work Custom covers many areas and items, too many to list them all.
